Reading-PeruginiTo get with the loving and giving, we start off with two bits of good news for folks on the autism spectrum.

First, a little Guardians of the Galaxy anecdote about how much of a difference it can make to have someone in a story to identify with.

And then, the first comic book hero explicitly written as a person with autism.

And now, to the book loving and suggestion giving. Here is a list of lists of links to lists of books!

For the month, check out Bustle‘s Morgan Ribera‘s list of “September 2014’s Best Books,” a local ABC affiliate News10‘s “10 Books to Read in September” and The New Yorker‘s “Books to Watch Out For: September.”

For the season: USA Today gives us ten highlights from this fall’s films that were adapted from books., and Business Insider‘s Megan Willet shares “20 New Books We Can’t Wait to Read This Fall.”

For all time: Chuck Thompson at CNN shares the “15 Funniest Travel Books Ever Written (in English)” and HuffPost‘s Lauren Sarner tells us about “5 Long Books Worth Every Page.”

If you’re from the Palmetto State or the Peach State, or even if you’re not, you might like David Lauderdale‘s exploration of books that might make the list if South Carolina copied Georgia’s list of books every Georgian should read.

Finally, if you’re reading for business rather than pleasure: billionaire Warren Buffet has a list of nine books he thinks everyone should read, and HuffPost‘s Steve Sipress shares seven must-read books for entrepreneurs.
